Design and Functionality

Adam’s site is meant to show off his writing, so I created a minimalist website that features great typography. Text is presented in highly-readable, high contrast spaces. The navigation is organized and semantic, and grouped together along the top so it can be found and used instantly. We drilled down to the most important reasons a reader might use his website, and included nothing else to distract.

We also dedicated half of the site’s real estate to an actionable “contact me” box, which I integrated with a Google form so that Adam can protect his email address while accessing the responses from anywhere in the world.

Adam requested a Twitter widget, but I couldn’t find anything that gave me sufficient typographic control, so I created my own for the footer of his website:

I also created a versatile typographic logo and color palate, which Adam has adapted to use for a variety of media:

Privacy Policy

Except as required by law, I will not reveal or share any personally identifiable information about my subscribers or visitors to any third party.

Who is a third party? Well, the first party is you, the second party is me, so it's basically anyone who's not you or me. It's them. And I won't give them anything because, you know, they probably have enough already.
